• Thoroughly clean (vacuum, mop, clean counters and windows
  • Turn on all overhead lights and lamps
  • Replace all burned out light bulbs
  • Use bulbs of same temp (all incandescent or all fluorescent)
  • Turn all ceiling fans OFF
  • Turn all TV’s & Computer screens OFF
  • Open blinds or curtains and let natural light in
  • Make all beds
  • Remove small floor rugs to reveal natural flooring
  • Place all shoes & jackets in closets


  • Close garage doors
  • Remove cars from driveway and front of home
  • Clean up landscapring (mow, trim shubs & clear leaves)
  • Remove empty planters
  • Remove cobwebs from eaves and door frames
  • Remove visible water hoses
  • Remove toys, balls, basketball goals etc


  • Clean porch
  • Tidy up outdoor furniture including cushions
  • Clear out toys, balls etc
  • Turn on fountains or water features
  • Remove visible water hoses
  • Remove trash cans


  • Clear countertops COMPLETELY
  • Leave out only 1 small appliance (ex Coffee Maker)
  • Clear outside of fridge of all magnets, papers, photos etc
  • Hide garbage cans
  • Remove all dishes from sink

  • Remove wall stickers and posters
  • Removie diaper genies
  • Clean under beds, removing items that may show


  • Clear counter tops completely
  • No toothpaste, medicines, soaps, deodorants etc
  • Put toilet seats down
  • Close Closet Doors
  • Remove shampoo, soaps, loofahs etc for showers/tubs
  • Remove dirty towels, leave out only new unused towels
  • Remove floor mats


  • Place food and water bowls in closets or pantry
  • Place pet beds and toys in pantry or closet
  • Use lint roller on furniture to remove any pet hair
  • Contain pets in hidden crate or outside
  • Clear back yard of pet waste and toys
